If you could come back and live your
life over
who would you become?
The doctor turns and smiles, Time of death, 23:11 on
12 February, 2116
my what a life shes had!
At the moment of her death, Arielles soul detaches itself
from her physical body and ascends towards the ceiling.
The room, building and hospital disappear while her body
floats up along side her friends. Many fly over to touch,
hug and escort her to the white light. Now feeling young
and lively, with more no tubes, ailments, or frailty
she
floats over to Raphael, throws her arms around his neck
and holds on tight.
He whispers, Welcome home my love! Im glad youre back.
Arielle, a human spirit, lives in Heaven and has been reincarnated a total of 249 times. She is
now up for promotion to Archangel
but for this to happen she must go back to Earth one
last time and live out a final Blueprintthe contract agreed to by both soul and God prior to
every incarnation. It details precise information about the souls journey to Earth, especially
what the souls destiny will be.
Blueprint revolves around a dinner party where Arielle asks her friends to brainstorm
scenarios for her last incarnation. As the evening progresses, and more wine is consumed, the
scenarios become more and more bizarre. Based around her theme of healingher friends
create humorous scenarios
a transsexual, a Downs Syndrome child, a street vagabond, an
Aboriginal healer, a centenarian who heals using meridian therapy in Japan, a child prodigy
who heals through music, and a famous celebrity, as well as many more. Some guests agree
to cast themselves in certain roles so they too can participate in Arielles last life.
Following each scenario, a debate takes place between the guests on why someone would
choose that type of life. The discussions ask the reader to question why we have the job,
friends, family and life that we do, and are we living our intended journey?
After days of deliberation, Arielle chooses a theme, and prepares a Blueprint outlining every
detail. However, during the final preparation and casting her friends into various roles, the
Council appear advising her that she must leave that night. With no final Blueprint in place,
it is up to her friends to complete it for her, of course, with many surprises. But who better
than your closest friends to write the details of your liferight?
Blueprint will appeal to readers who are questioning their life. Perhaps they have an empty
feeling as though they are supposed to be doing something, but are uncertain as to what that
is? Some may be contemplating a change in career, have an aspiration to travel to another
country, or try a new hobby, because it was calling them?
Others may wonder why there are world tragedies, why certain individuals have challenging
lives, or are disabled, where others live such a privileged, healthy life.
Blueprint is a fascinating story about lifeand life after death
